A little time in the kitchen

The base starts in the blender with cottage cheese, eggs and strawberry milk tea protein. Spread it thin, bake it until it sets, then let it cool before you bring in the filling.

This one is best cold. The yogurt and strawberries settle into the roll as it chills, so give it that time before slicing.

Cool the base. Fill it. Let the fridge do the rest.

The small things that matter

Good ingredients.
A better finish.

1

Keep the texture

A warm base softens the filling and makes rolling messy. Cool it before spreading the yogurt mixture.

2

Measure the mix

Weigh the ingredients before you start so the filling and base come together as written.

3

Give it time

Allow 15 minutes to prepare, 20 to 25 minutes to bake, then time to cool and chill until the roll holds its shape.

How to make it

Method

  1. Blending the cottage cheese and egg base until smooth

    Blend the base

Heat the oven to 355°F (180°C). Line a baking tray with parchment. Blend the cottage cheese, eggs, cornstarch and 39 g strawberry protein powder until completely smooth.

  2. Spreading the protein batter into a parchment-lined baking tray

    Bake a thin rectangle

Spread the batter into an even rectangle on the lined tray. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until lightly golden and set. Let it cool before adding the filling.

  3. Folding chopped strawberries into the yogurt and cream cheese filling

    Make the strawberry filling

Stir the vanilla yogurt and light cream cheese together until smooth. Fold in the chopped strawberries.

  4. Using parchment to roll the strawberry-filled base into a log

    Fill, then roll

Spread the filling over the cooled base. Use the parchment to help lift one edge and roll it into a log. Keep the filling tucked in as you go.

  5. The finished strawberry cheesecake roll with fresh berries

    Chill before slicing

Wrap the roll snugly in parchment and refrigerate until cold and firm enough to slice cleanly. Cut into three equal servings.
